About me

Joanna Zubkowicz Sports Massage Remedial Massage Pregnancy Soft Tissue Therapy in South West London

Hello, I’m Joanna — thank you for visiting!
I’m really glad you’re here and curious to learn more about my work.

My Journey: From Uncertainty to Passion

At the age of 20, I realised that my true calling was to help people. I didn’t know exactly how I would achieve this, but I knew it was my purpose. Despite earning a Master’s degree in Polish Philology, I felt that teaching wasn’t the right path for me. With a love for artistic pursuits and a passion for working with my hands, I sought a career that would allow me to express these talents.

As I gained various work experiences, I quickly discovered that a fast-paced environment wasn’t where I thrived. In the midst of this exploration, I decided to take my first massage course—a decision that felt like coming home. Something had always drawn me to the art of massage, and once I took that step, there was no looking back.

Every Client, a Unique Story

Every client I work with has a story — one I can often “read” not just through their words, but through their body. I

don’t believe in a separation between body and mind. In massage therapy, as in many other forms of therapeutic work, we address both.

How the body feels affects the mind, and our mental state shapes how we experience pain and tension.

Through touch, we can help the nervous system slow down and reset, allowing both body and mind to feel calmer, grounded, and restored.

Working with You on Your Well-being Journey

Pain plays an important role in keeping us safe — but living in pain is no fun. Chronic discomfort can drain the joy out of life, while even everyday niggles add to stress and tension. For anyone training or active, pain can stop progress and limit movement.

That’s where my work begins: my aim is to support you in overcoming whatever is stopping you from feeling good.

I want to help you find more time for your well-being and feel better within yourself.

I'm dedicated to helping you find more time for your well-being and feel better within yourself. My qualifications include extensive training in deep tissue, sports and remedial massage, as well as pregnancy and postnatal massage. I am committed to continuously expanding my knowledge based on the latest research to provide you with the best possible care.

As a parent, I know how hard it can be to balance work and life. When I’m not working or studying, I love taking long walks in nature, practicing yoga, dancing or exercising, painting, or playing guitar — whatever helps me reconnect with myself and gives me joy and a sense of freedom.
