Calm Mind & Restore Body

Through Therapeutic Touch and Movement

Welcome!

Do you often struggle to find time for self-care amidst your busy life?

Are you battling with chronic pain or with neck, shoulder, back tension? Perhaps recovering from an injury?

Do you find yourself weighed down by low mood, stress, anxiety or yearning for a peaceful sanctuary to nurture your well-being but don't like the spa/salon environment?

Maybe you're a pregnant woman seeking relaxation and relief from pregnancy aches or facing the postpartum period and feel like the hours of caring for your newborn leave you achy, tired, and you’re longing for some 'me time'?

As a mobile massage therapist providing treatments at homes in South London, I know first hand the daily juggle of work, life, family and self care and I am here to offer a helping hand to support your health and wellbeing.

I firmly believe in the transformative power of self-care. It's my privilege to step into your world and through massage therapy and movement make a positive impact on how you feel, both physically and emotionally, so you can navigate life with less pain, renewed energy and a brighter outlook.

My intention is
for you to feel

safe, heard and cared for.

"Joanna has a very professional approach to a patient. I have regular sessions with her: she understands what my needs are  and addresses issues in the best possible way.

I definietly recommend her services."

- Sylwia, Lyphoedema Therapist,  Morden

"A friend recommended Joanna for a pregnancy massage and it did not disappoint! Absolutely gorgeous! It’s truly the best massage I've ever had! So since having my baby I keep coming back.

It’s always wonderful. Thank you Joanna!"

- Natasha, Mitcham

What is Soft Tissue Therapy?

Soft Tissue Therapy is a person centred approach to assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal pain and injury within a biopsychosocial framework of care.

It's an umbrella term for a variety of hands-on techniques for a variety of purposes, however it's YOU that is the core focus of the treatment not only your aches, injury or medical condition.

As of current understanding  manual therapy is affecting soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia) through stimulation of nerves within the body's biggest organ - skin.

Every treatment is unique and tailored to your individual needs and/or likes. I am not aiming at "fixing", but simply supporting you towards your wellbeing goals.

I completed my BTEC 5 Soft Tissue Therapy qualification in 2023 at  highly regarded The ST School in Bristol. I have however 10 years of experience in massage as I gained my first  qualification in 2013 (VTCT Level 3 in Swedish Massage).

I am committed to continuous education and expansion of skills.

I am now a member of ISRM - Institute for Soft Tissue Therapists (previously known as Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage), and adhere to its Code of Ethics, Conduct and Practice.

ISRM has become the benchmark of quality training and soft tissue therapy in UK,

developing their program over the years to be evidence based and meet the needs of a client.

I am DBS checked and  insured.
